Twitter Ads Connection Configuration

This is a help page for setting up connection information for Twitter Ads.

Submit the Ads API

To create a connection setting for Twitter Ads, you need three things: "Developer Account", "Twitter Application", and "Ads API License (developer)".
It may take days or weeks for Twitter to approve you.
If you have any questions about your application, please contact support.

1. Create a developer account

Create one from the developer account application screen.

2. Create a Twitter application

Once your developer account has been submitted, create one from the Twitter application creation screen.

3. Apply for an Ads API License Agreement

Once the Twitter application is created, go to the Ads API license application screen and fill out the form to apply.

4. Generate an access token

Go to the Twitter app dashboard and select the application you created.
Select Keys and tokens at the top.
Click Create under Access token & Access token secret to generate the token.

5. Register trocco URL

Go to the Twitter app dashboard and select the application you created.
Select App details at the top.
Go to the edit screen from Edit and enter Callbackhttps://trocco.io/connections/twitter_ads_analytics/callback URLs to save.

6. Grant access to Twitter Ads

Create connection settings

1. Find out ConsumerKey and ConsumerSecret

Go to the Twitter app dashboard and select the application you created.
Select Keys and tokens at the top.
Note that it is(API secret key) under(API key) Consumer API keys.

2. Enter your connection information

Go to trocco's TwitterAds connection information creation screen.
Enter the name of the connection setting and the one you examinedConsumerKeyConsumerSecret in 1.
Click Save.

3. Authorize the Twitter app

You will be redirected to the Twitter screen, so click Authenticate Linked App.
