Setting up Slack Notifications

This page explains how to set up Slack notifications.

How to set up Slack notifications

1. Click Notifications from the Details page of your target ETL Configuration.
   You will be redirected to the Notifications tab.

2. Click Add Notifications.
   The Create Notifications pop-up window will appear.

3. In the pop-up window specify the Notification Type and Notification Conditions.
   You can set various notifications, such as for job errors and alerts based on the time elapsed since the transfer started.

4. Specify the notification destination, enter a message, and click Save.
   Your notification is added to your ETL Configuration.

How to find your Slack user_id

1. Click on the icon of the Slack account you wish to get the user_id for, and click on View All Profiles.
2. Obtain the user_id by clicking on the ellipses (three dots), then Copy member ID from the menu that appears.
