Job concurrency limit
Concurrency limit specification
TROCCO limits the number of jobs that can run simultaneously within an account.
Normally, when a job is executed in TROCCO, the job is queued
(waiting to be executed) and then the job begins execution.
At this time, if the maximum number of running jobs has been reached, the queued
(waiting for execution) state is maintained until any job that was running earlier finishes.
Maximum value per contract plan
The value of the maximum number of jobs to be executed concurrently varies depending on the plan you are subscribed to.
Free | Starter | Essential | Advanced | Professional |
---|---|---|---|---|
5 | 10 | 20 | 50 | 100* |
* Professional plans can relax the limit on the number of concurrent executions.
Countable jobs and job status
The total number of jobs that meet the following conditions is counted as the number of simultaneous executions.
- Job Type
- ETL Job
- data mart job
- job status
SETTING UP
: Job start-up statusEXECUTING
: Job running status
Note that once an ETL Job or Data Mart Job with the above Job status is terminated in some way, the Job will no longer be counted in the concurrent execution count.
supplementary information
The maximum number of the same execution of a job has been partially specified following the change in the rate plan in April 2024.
The specifications of the old plan are as follows
- Upper limit: 100 (no difference by contract plan)
- Countable Jobs: ETL Jobs only
Job processing timeframe
What is processing time and processing timeframe?
TROCCO defines processing****time (*1) as "the total job execution time at any given point in a month" and processing time quota as "the maximum amount of execution time that can be used without being charged additionally (*2).
*1 Processing time returns to 0 hour as of midnight (UTC+9) on the first day of each month.
*2 There is no additional charge for the Free plan; instead, job execution is restricted.
Processing timeframe per contracted plan
Processing timeframes vary depending on the plan you have signed up for.
Free | Starter | Essential | Advanced | Professional |
---|---|---|---|---|
4 hours/month | 30 hours/month | 250 hours/month | 600 hours/month | (Please inquire) |
When the processing time exceeds the processing timeframe
Behavior when processing time exceeds the processing timeframe varies from plan to plan.
- If you are using the Free plan
- No additional charges will be incurred if processing time exceeds the processing time frame.
- However, once the number is exceeded, job execution during the month will be restricted.
- If you are using one of the paid plans
- Excess will be billed in additional 20-hour increments.
- Formula for calculating the amount of additional billing: Number of Blocks x Unit Price per Block
- Formula for calculating the number of blocks: "(processing time - processing time frame + 19) / 20" (unit is time, division is rounded down)
Please contact your sales representative or Customer Success.
For example, suppose that the Essential plan (250-hour processing timeframe) has a processing time of 300 hours.
In this case, (300-250+19)/20=3
(division rounded down), resulting in an additional bill for 3 blocks.
Note that a one-hour grace period exists for the calculation of the number of blocks. (In the formula, +19
is used instead of +20
.)
This means, for example, that on the Essential plan, the processing time is 270 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.
In this case, an additional charge for two blocks would normally be incurred.
However, since there is a one-hour grace period in the formula, (270.99-250+19)/20 = 1
(division is rounded down), which results in an additional charge for one block.
How to check processing time
This information can be viewed from the TROCCO dashboard screen.
The dashboard screen also shows daily processing time totals and other information.
The processing time is aggregated several times a day at irregular intervals, and the aggregate results are reflected sequentially on the dashboard screen.
Conditions under which processing time is measured
The time from the start date and time to the end date and time of a job that meets the following conditions is credited to the processing time in seconds.
- job status
- Jobs that have been
SUCCEEDED``(SUCCESS

- Jobs that have been
