Setting up a Notification Destination

Overview

This page explains how to set up a notification destination for your ETL jobs run in trocco.

Creating a notification destination

1. Navigate to the Create Notification page

• Note: Admin permissions are required to create a new notification destination. Members are unable to create notification destinations. There is no limit to the number of notification destinations that can be created.

Follow the steps below:

Example 1.1:

• From the main page under System Management click Notifications.

• Next, from the Notifications page click Create Notification.

  

  

Example 1.2:

• From the ETL Configuration details page, select the Notifications tab, and click Add Notifications.

• Next, from the Create Notifications pop-up window click Add Notification Destination.

  

  

2. Select your preferred notification destination.

• From the Create Notification Screen, select the service for which you wish to register notification settings.

• Note: trocco currently supports Slack channel and email notifications.

  

• For Slack channel notifications, enter the Webhook URL and the name of the channel you want to send the notifications to.

• Click Save.

• Email Notifications
  Enter the email address to use for notifications and click Save.
