Creating a Notification

This page explains how to create and add notifications to an ETL Configuration.

Set notifications for the result of a transfer

  1. Navigate to the Notifications tab in your ETL Configuration.
  • From the details page for your ETL Configuration, click the Notification tab, then Add Notifications.

  1. Currently, there are three notification types that you can choose from:
  • Job Notification Alert:
    Notify when your job completes or if it fails.

  • Record Alert:
    After the transfer completes, notify if the transferred records are over or under a specific amount.

  • Long-running Alert:
    Notify after a set amount of time has elapsed since the transfer started.

  1. Select your Notification Destination
  • In the Notification Destination field, select the destination your would like to send the notification to.
  • If you have not yet set up a Notification Destination, clickAdd Notification Destination. After setting up your new Notification Destination, click Reload Notification Destination to make it available for selection.

  • In the Message field, add any information that you would like to be included in the notification.

  1. After completing the above fields, click Save to finish.
