summary
Help page on deleting users.
Only users with Account Privilege Administrator privileges may delete users.
For information on account privileged administrators, see About Account Privileged Administrators.
- There are settings in TROCCO that are tied to a user, and deleting a user may invalidate the settings.
Please note that user deletion cannot be undone.
For more information, see Settings Disabled by User Deletion. - Deleting a user does not delete resources created by that user, such as ETL Configurations and Data Mart Configurations.
If the resource is not managed by a Resource Group, it is usually not available for operation.
However, an account privileged administrator can operate even such a resource.

Settings that are disabled by user deletion
Data Catalog Manager
Deleting a user who is a Data Catalog administrator will result in the absence of an administrator for that Data Store.
Catalog data and metadata retrieval is connected to the Data Catalog administrator using the Data Store account used by the Data Catalog administrator.
Therefore, automatic updating of Data Catalog data and metadata for data stores that are no longer under the Data Catalog administrator's care will be stopped.
For information on how another user can become a Data Catalog administrator, see Data Catalog Settings - Data Store Collaboration Management.
API KEY for TROCCO API
Deleting a user also deletes the API Key created by that user.
API KEY is used as the authentication token for the TROCCO API.
Use the API KEY created by the active user, as TROCCO API requests using a deleted API KEY will result in an authentication error.
For instructions on how to create an API Key, see Creating an API Key.
