Data Catalog

Dependency list page added

The displayed dependencies can be filtered and sorted by information such as "creator" and "table name".

You can delete it by clicking the menu button of the dependency you want to delete on the list screen and selecting "Delete this dependency".

Query Editor

Added query saving function

In the query editor, you can now save queries and load saved queries.
It can be used when you want to reuse frequently used queries or share queries with multiple users.

You no longer need to select your primary project every time you start the query editor.

Metadata search function

Search results screen added

When searching, you can now move to the "Search Results" screen to check detailed information and filter and sort.
The following improvements have been made to the conventional search function.

  • Highlight where the search keyword is hit in bold
  • Sort results by relevance, table creation date, etc.
  • Search results can be filtered by tables, columns, projects, etc.
  • Enhanced relevant information for table columns displayed in search results

Registered user-defined metadata can be searched from the search bar at the top of the screen.

Supports PostgreSQL metadata display

You can now browse PostgreSQL metadata in the Data Catalog feature.
If you have created a transfer setting that specifies PostgreSQL as the transfer source and Google BigQuery as the transfer destination, the "Metadata about PostgreSQL" field is displayed in the table information and column information.

  • In the transfer source S3, "tar.gz" was added to the decompression settings.
    • Also, when the decompression setting is tar.gz, the "relative path after extraction" can be set in the same way as zip.
